ROMANO BURINI Master Luthier – Osimo, Ancona A master of precision, Romano is a highly skilled artisan dedicated to high-grade guitar construction and delicate vintage restorations. As a long-standing partner of Cescoscorner Guitars, Romano does all complex fretwork, vintage-correct refinishing, and sensitive structural repairs, including pickup restoration and the meticulous removal of non-original oversprays. He is our specialist for any task requiring absolute technical perfection.
MATTEO RUFINI Master Luthier – Perugia Coming from the prestigious Italian violin-making tradition, Matteo is a passionate craftsman who bridges the gap between classical techniques and legendary electric guitar designs. A designer of his own successful line of instruments, Matteo serves as our premier aging specialist. His extensive research into the specific fillers and primers used by Fender during the "Golden Era" allows him to execute vintage finish restorations that age with historical authenticity. In partnership with the University of Perugia, Matteo has helped ToneTeam enter the field of “ground truth.” By applying Scientific Analysis to vintage guitars, he helps ensure a new level of accuracy for both our restorations and appraisals.
ALESSANDRO CINQUINI Master Guitar Technician – Viareggio An experienced and highly skilled Guitar Tech, Alessandro earned his craft studying with the late, great Master Luthier Roberto Pistolesi. After over 20 years of dedication, he now operates a successful guitar repair point in Viareggio. He has developed a particular eye for detail, and his refret work is simply excellent, favored by many professional musicians. In partnership with the University of Pisa, Alessandro has helped ToneTeam enter the field of “ground truth.” By applying Scientific Analysis to vintage guitars, he helps ensure a new level of accuracy for both our restorations and appraisals.
DAVIDE CASTELLARO Master Luthier – Lerma Specializing in the intricate world of acoustic instruments, Davide brings the discipline of classical violin making to high-grade acoustic guitar building and "high-gloss" finishing. Davide is the ToneTeam's authority on all acoustic matters, from complex neck resets to delicate internal bracing repairs, ensuring these instruments maintain their structural health and tonal brilliance.
